At Help Anchor Academy, students follow a structured 4-day weekly schedule that keeps learning engaging and effective. Below is a sample lesson plan for our 4th-grade Language Arts class, showcasing how we integrate interactive lessons, worksheets, activities, and assessments.

Week 1-2 Preview Page

 Learning Goals:
This week, you will learn how to decode multisyllabic words by identifying common syllable patterns.

 Topics Covered:

  • Breaking words into syllables

  • Identifying vowel patterns in multisyllabic words

  • Using decoding strategies for unfamiliar words

 Key Concepts:
By the end of this week, you should be able to:
          Identify different types of syllables (open, closed, vowel-consonant-e,  etc.)
          Break multisyllabic words into syllables to aid pronunciation
          Apply decoding strategies to read new words fluently
