  • What curriculum do you use?
    Our curriculum is based on Florida state standards and developed in-house by our Curriculum Directors and certified teachers to support a variety of learning styles. We use a blend of standards-aligned academic content with Bible-integrated values, ensuring both rigor and relevance. Lessons feature project-based learning, real-world application, and flexibility to support family-centered education in both our Real-Time Virtual and Flexible Learning Pathway programs.
  • What programs do you offer?
    Help Anchor Academy offers a variety of programs to meet the unique needs of students and families: Real-Time Virtual Program (Grades K–12): Live, interactive classes held Monday through Thursday led by certified educators. Flexible Learning Pathway: A self-paced, parent-guided program using our curriculum and platform, with teacher grading and support. Homeschool Tutoring: Personalized academic support for homeschool families. Enrichment Courses: Separate from our K–12 programs and open to all students and adults. Courses range from Culinary Arts and Latin Dance to Digital Design and more.
  • What is the enrollment fee?
    A non‑refundable enrollment fee of $150 per child applies. Pay within 3 days of your initial enrollment document to receive a reduced rate of $100.
  • What is required for enrollment?
    Enrollment includes: Application submission Enrollment fee payment Confirmation of monthly tuition/contribution amount Signed Enrollment Agreement Submission of required documents (e.g., school records, transcripts)
  • How will we receive access to the learning platforms?
    You’ll receive setup instructions and login credentials via email (Classe365, Microsoft 365 Email, and Teams) before the school year begins.
  • How do we withdraw a student from Help Anchor Academy?
    Submit written notice via email to admin@helpanchor.org, including your child’s full name and reason for withdrawal. Please give 30 days’ notice when possible.
  • Do you accept state or federal education funding/scholarships?
    Yes—we accept families using state scholarships or Educational Savings Accounts (ESAs).
  • Will my child get an official report card or transcript?
    Yes! All students receive quarterly report cards, and high school students receive official transcripts that can be used for graduation, transfers, and post-secondary education.
  • What learning platforms does Help Anchor Academy use?
    Classe365: For student data, grading, assignments, and communication Microsoft 365 Email: Each student receives a school email Microsoft Teams: Used for all live virtual classes
  • When does the school year begin?
    The 2025–2026 school year starts on August 18, 2025. Orientation will be held virtually on August 14, 2025.
  • Do you provide technology or internet access?
    At this time, families must provide their own device and internet connection. As a nonprofit, we hope to offer tech support in the future through grants and donations.
  • What is the typical daily schedule for the Live School Program?
    Grades K–2: Academic Block 9:00–10:30 AM, Enrichment Block 1:00–2:30 PM (Mon–Thu) Grades 3–12: 8:45 AM–3:10 PM—including core subjects, electives, breaks, and support
  • What kind of parental involvement is expected?
    Parents are encouraged to be actively involved in their child’s academic journey. Attendance, engagement, and consistent communication are essential to success in both learning pathways.
  • What kind of school is Help Anchor Academy?
    Help Anchor Academy is a private virtual school operated by Jehovah’s Witnesses. We offer a spiritually upbuilding learning environment rooted in Bible principles, focused on academic excellence and character development.
  • Is Help Anchor Academy accredited?
    We are currently in the accreditation process and anticipate full accreditation by the 2026–2027 school year. In the meantime, we provide official transcripts and documentation that have been accepted by both private and public institutions.
